William (Bill) Conklin PTA/ATC works for PRO Rehabilitation Services as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a Certified Athletic Trainer. Bill graduated from Penn State University, Hazleton Campus in May 2001 with an Associate Degree in Science and Physical Therapy. In December of 2003 he graduated from Penn State University, Main Campus, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with the Athletic Training Option. Bill continues to broaden his education and treatment approach by taking courses in Aquatic Physical Therapy, Mulligan Concept, Pilates, Overhead Athlete, Manual Edema Mobilization, and the IMPACT Concussion Conference.
Bill began his tenure at PRO Rehabilitation Services in February 2004, and worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant with patients on land and in the aquatic program. Initially, he worked in the Hazleton Clinic, but then branched out to the Moosic, Plains and Hanover Township facilities. In August 2005 Bill relocated to Western PA and worked at a Physical Therapy company concentrating on Sports Medicine. Bill returned to PRO Rehabilitation Services in August 2007, and worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Plains, Moosic and Clarks Summit facilities. He also worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer with Holy Redeemer High School in Wilkes-Barre. Bill is now assisting in the development of a comprehensive sports medicine program at PRO Rehabilitation Services, and is the current Certified Athletic Trainer at Pittston Area High School.
