Ralph J. Kovaleski, OTR/L earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from College Misericordia in May 1985. He continued to pursue his education by completing courses focusing on Industrial Medicine including upper extremity rehabilitation, job analysis, functional capacity evaluations and ergonomic assessment/intervention. Ralph also earned his certification as a Blankenship Functional Capacity Evaluator.
Throughout his career Ralph worked in a variety of Healthcare settings including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and he has extensive experience in Industrial Rehabilitation. He has made numerous presentations regarding the role of therapy in transitional return to work programs, and spine and upper extremity injury prevention. His audiences have included representatives of manufacturing and distribution companies, underground mining companies and healthcare organizations. Ralph has also been a contributing author to several local employer safety newsletters.
Ralph joined PRO Rehabilitation Services in August 2000 and directed the company’s on-site rehabilitation program at Techneglas. He currently provides occupational therapy services to patients at our Moosic, Plains and Clarks Summit clinics. Ralph also performs Functional Capacity Evaluations at our clinics in Plains and Hazleton.
