Rebecca A. Yurko, MPT, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton in May 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University in May 1998. Becky joined the team at PRO Rehabilitation Services in November 2002, and treated patients in the Plains clinic for the next eight years. She also shared her knowledge and expertise in serving as a Clinical Instructor for Physical Therapy students. In January of 2011, Becky was promoted to the position of Clinical Manager of our new Mountain Top facility.
Becky has extensive physical therapy experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and is continuing her education in physical therapy. She has completed courses in the McKenzie Treatment of the Lumbar Spine, the Mulligan Concept, Strain and Counterstrain for the Spine, and treatment of low back pain. She has also completed sessions on the evaluation and treatment of the shoulder, knee and common foot disorders.
