Michele Lee Cassetori, OTR/L earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from College Misericordia in 1990. Throughout her career, Michele has continued to pursue clinical excellence enhancing her skills with many continuing education opportunities. She has completed training in modalities, upper extremity joint mobilizations, manual edema mobilizations, and osteoporosis. Michele earned her certification and practiced as a Certified Functional Capacity evaluator from 1999 to 2003.
In 2019, Michele received her certification in LSVT BIG. She then developed a treatment program for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative movement disorders. Michele also incorporates functional cognitive strategies to address all impacts of neurological decline. In addition to individualized patient care, Michele provides caregiver training and fall prevention training and education.
As the Director of Occupational Therapy with PRO Rehabilitation Services since September 1999, Michele has provided dedicated mentorship, and effective leadership to the Occupational Therapy department. She has been instrumental in developing new programs in the areas of industrial rehabilitation services, work conditioning, body mechanics education, certified hand therapy, and pediatric services. Michele has supported the mission of PRO Rehabilitation Services through her ongoing commitment to excellence and a patient centered approach.
